A beautiful future meets us where we are one day at a time. Imagining a future free of the pain of addiction is the first step.  
 
My name is Tiffany Thompson, owner and Artist of “Guitartist” Painted Guitars. I come from a long line of addicts, losing four close family members to alcoholism in the past five years, including my dad. I thank them for their life lessons and pushing me away from this generational plague that took them from us too soon. I’ve got it from here.  
 
A few years ago, the universe brought me together with Hope Creates to teach a few guitar painting sessions on Saturday mornings. In the process of me helping them, they helped heal me. The universe always has a plan. Hope Creates gave me wings to use my lifetime of empowering young humans, combined with the artful soul I was born with to be an observer as these Hope Creates youth discovered the strengths and talents they’ve had inside them all along. It’s a beautiful thing to watch.  
 
Monarch butterflies symbolize change, transformation, and hope. Sunshine over water unites renewal with the ebb and flow of life. My guitar combines them all and I’ve named it “Serenity”. 

For silent auction winners located outside of the St. Louis metropolitan area, the buyer is responsible for costs for shipping their purchased items from St. Louis to their destination. Buyers are responsible for paying Hope Creates the full shipping costs, to be paid when the cost is assessed based on weight and geographic location. Shipping costs will be processed with silent auction items within 4 business days of auction close.
