Artist Statement:
"I've always been eager to learn music and play instruments. I find it fulfilling and calming. Music makes me feel like I don’t have to worry about anything else in the world. I love art, yet I find it hard to get inspiration sometimes. When I make art, I like to include the things that I love – my favorite colors, things I like to do, and things I see 

in my everyday life. I put the guitar picks on the guitar as a border design because I like patterns, designs, and cool colors. I know that in a few years, I’ll look back at this guitar and be happy I took the time to make it. I already own a guitar, yet this one I painted is special. I can say that I made it. It’s the only one like it in the world. 

The stories from the speakers were nice to hear, and I enjoyed listening to them. From every story, I learned something. Mainly, I learned that I am not alone. People do things that they don’t like, yet people can change. Everyone who shared their story made mistakes, and then they changed and did something good with their lives."
